Homemaking

Today was rather uneventful. No classes to stress about yet, no fun events to pass the time with.

I went up onto campus to take care of some little things after we went shopping with Grandma Jane and moved our things in a bit. When I was done with my business on campus I realized that I was incredibly hungry.

So... when I got back to the apartment I decided to make spaghetti!

This is what the kitchen looked like after I was done:

Our table. All set!

Spaghetti!! (With chicken and green beans... a deadly concoction. Bwahaha.)

Emma's first bite... she took my "First Bite Picture" on her camera. :P

Parting of the Ways

Well, I've neglected my blog for about a month since my mom has been doing a good job of documenting what we've been doing as a family. She's not here to blog for me anymore so I suppose I should pick it back up!
I waved goodbye to my family after what seemed like an eternity of moving around carseats and stuff and food and books and DVDs and suitcases and people. My grandmother drove me and the other half of my things down to my new apartment in Provo. I'll be sharing it with 5 other girls including my cousin Emma.
Mostly I've just been unpacking and moving things around. I'm trying to wait to organize anything since I want to make sure that the setup is comfortable for everyone. So I decided to ride my bike down to the D.I. that isn't too far from where I'm staying. I wanted to finally get a picture frame for the family photo that I've had for about a year now.
After not too much searching I found the perfect-sized frame. But it was bright yellow. (Which would totally clash with the colors in the family photo.) It was only $1.00 so I decided to get it and some silver metallic spray paint to hopefully make the clash a little less "clashy."

Here are the pictures of its transformation:
